As leaving of researches achieved for the thesis has a level microphone on the
development of two zones, the first Belgian, the French second, has know the one of the
Center and Lille, I would wish to propose a paper on the geographical implantation of the
employers' houses (as good in the conception of squares that of the other paternalistic or
philanthropic vision types) and of those of the personal houses within these two
determined zones, feature, related, but yet very distinct.
Indeed, the survoy of the banking system emergence, cash-boxes of credit in a context
of industrialization and post industrialization between 1880 and 1930 permit to put to the
day of accession logics (wanted - accepted - predetermined - undergone) to the property
according to a variety of formulas (employers' houses, renting-purchase, acquirement,
construction) allying a large specter of potential gaits (saving, credit and types of
credit, paternalistic measures...).
In the same way, it is possible to show the legislative measure impact inciting to the
accession to the property of workers, impact being revealed also active towards the credit
(diversity of credits, real recipients of measures, real values of these last, public
service room, parallel network of local credit cash-boxes, role of the trusteeship...),
but also on the urbanistic studied locality development (existence of ghettos,
socioeconomic reading of a possible social marking, diversity of the habitat, originality
or degree of construction conformity, free referee either supposes real of the future
owners, dating of the emergence of a variety of the habitat and its implantation by report
has the dating of measures and by report has the one of the development of a public system
of credit and, more particularly, of mortgage).
The optics decidedly comparatist permits to signal the general likeness, to mark
nuances, but also of the different models and this even within two geographically near and
easily assimilated zones.
This survey essentially leans on the notarial archives, archives of the registration,
registers of population and " documents cadastraux ". in the same way, registers
of credit societies that would subsist and would permit to realize, has a local level,
some efficient realizations been born of state measures as well as their impact on the
spatial logic.
Of the at the time of, to tackle has dig the kept relations by the walks of the credit
and the real estate market imposes itself because, hence, it would be possible to discover
the implantation of the new and traditional populations according to their access to the
credit and therefore to raise the possible presence of ghettos been born of this
rationality in the setting of a public credit, the rental constraint misleading a
qualitative weakness only operating a displacement toward the movement of accession.
